Description
A large retail bank with a very strong UK presence is currently seeking a Finance Business Partner to join a team set up with facilitate a major project set to run for the next 15 months.
The successful applicant will have a proven track record working within large, complex organisations and will have experience interacting and working with senior stakeholders.
In addition to being able to assist in advising on all the financial aspects of the strategy of the business area, you will also support the demanding management & planning processes for the annual, three year and five year strategic plans.
You will be required to:
* Deputise for Business Partner engaging and building trusted relationships with key stakeholders across the project and Finance Community
* Provide financial management information for the portfolio and month end processes
* Develop a robust understanding of programme in order to fully support the business through delivery.
* Enable an improved understanding of the financial implications of decisions, by producing the financial information, analysis and interpretation required.
* Provide financial support to non-finance professionals.
* Apply Finance policies and procedures within the project area, monitoring adherence to policies.
You will:
- Be from a banking background or a major blue chip or FTSE 100 company.
- Have a strong understanding of MI, costing and FP&A
- Have a strong personality, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be degree educated or equivalent
