Our Multinational client is seeking several Infrastructure Project Managers who have the capability and confidence to deliver a high profile Multi-vendor program with multiple streams across multiple sites.You will manage projects related to infrastructure outsourcing. These can be new business projects or delivering upon contractual commitments, eg. Server or desktop refreshes, Data Centre Power Remediation, Data Centre Server Decommissioning Projects or general infrastructure and data centre related Client Facing projects within the Banking EnvironmentYour background as an experienced Project Manager will require you to be able to hit the ground running and deliver.
Your background must include the following experience:
- Specific knowledge of the PMI Process Groups; initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing. Working knowledge of current Project Management methodologies
- Implementation of Infrastructure projects, including preferred experience with Intel, Midrange or Mainframe platforms, SAN/Storage, TSM, Networks, Data Centre, Server, Security, Desktop, Active Directories
- Previous outsourcing experience preferred
- Infrastructure projects in the Banking industry; network projects (eg detailed designs, implement new IPS, Switches), security projects (eg Firewall upgrades); relocations projects; refresh projects.
- Experience in Data centre fit-outs including network, power, SAN and infrastructure hardware and managing related dependencies.
- Experience in Virtual Environments will be well regarded.
