Plexxus is now positioned to implement new efficiencies by implementing SAP financial and supply chain software applications at Plexxus and our member hospitals. We are searching for a Data Management Lead to be part of the ITS Project Leadership Team and take responsibility for design, development and conversion of master and transactional data in support of the ITS project. This role will report to the ITS Project Director. Accurate and complete converted transactional data and harmonized master data for Plexxus and its member hospitals are the primary deliverables of this role.

This role can be either permanent full time or a 12 month contract.

Accountabilities:

  • Identify business requirements for master data and transactional data as it relates to the scope of ITS Project and its future roll outs (10 hospitals)
  • Further develop and put in place the data conversion strategy, processes and systems that support master and transactional data conversion (extraction, cleansing, consolidation and loading in SAP), and manage all of the related activity to accomplish this for the project
  • Work with the Director, Data Management in the Plexxus sustaining organization to define operational process and procedures for ongoing sustainment
  • Collaborate with Plexxus business owners and hospital stakeholders to extract and validate the data to be converted, using clear communications, instruction sets, workshops, appropriate tracking mechanisms, etc.
  • Participate in enhancing the data governance framework and practice that spans across Plexxus and its Member Hospitals in order to ensure that the appropriate structure, rules and processes are in place to manage master data
  • Develop and maintain relevant project documentation and conduct training as required
  • Lead a team of data specialist, and act as the SME surrounding data

Qualifications:

  • Experience in large scale ERP implementation projects including specific experience with master and transactional data and governance processes
  • Minimum five (5) years hands on experience in an analytical role or data role in a SAP environment
  • Experience leading a major project workstream, including planning, tracking and status reporting, risk management, communication, and resource management
  • Data conversion and loading experience in SAP a must
  • Minimum 5yr's experience in leading and sustaining MDM and governance processes and practices.
  • Acted as a SME expertise and has experience leading a team of individuals dedicated to MDM and governance.
  • Understanding of and experience with master and transactional data processes and requirements as it relates to supply chain, procurement or sourcing business activities.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong data analysis and data architecture skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with a broad group of stakeholders to implement common standards and best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to work in a project environment
  • 5 years of relevant industry experience, preferably in a shared service or business process outsourcing environment
  • Experience with the tools required to facilitate this work - Excel, Visio, MS-Project, Access, SQL Tools, other data handling tools.
