Description
- Strong Operations focus with proven experience in management of key ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, and Change Mgmt)
- Ability to effectively co-ordinate and drive IT infrastructure failure restoration efforts and conduct post mortem investigations.
- Ability to effectively communicate with users, stakeholders, and vendor support..
- Familiarity with key HOT applications including HP Openview Operations, HP Service Manager, HP Openview Service Desk, HP Openview Network Node Manager, Telcordia Granite, Telcordia Network Engineer, CA eHealth, Business Objects, Twiki, Web Portal
- Experience in producing various Operations focused reports such as incident, problem, and change summary report including post mortem reports
- Technically skilled to review planned IT changes and provide reports/summaries to a Change Advisory Board
- Provide improvement recommendations to existing processes and systems
- Able to effectively carry out the following tasks:Maintain operational documents
- Plan and manage regular routine maintenance
- Co-ordinate Disaster Recovery system testing
- Manage construction work including rack & server installation, power, network cables
- Implement system security policy
- In-depth working knowledge and experience with Windows, Red Hat Linux, HPUX, Solaris platforms and server hardware
- Strong ITIL awareness and solid communications skills a must.
- Unversity degree iin Computer Science or equivalent preferred
