Our client, a leading investment bank, currently seeks a Finance Project Manager, to be based in London Docklands.
The Finance Project Manager will be part of the European Finance Division to cover Finance across Europe. The people and process improvement agenda is a high priority and there is a large change agenda to deliver for to make a positive impact to the department.
The Finance Project Manager will be responsible for:
-The ability to research, analyze numerical data and develop powerful PowerPoint presentations
-Supporting the execution of the Finance People Goals and Objectives for 2012 and beyond
-Supporting and delivering the ideas generation project. This particular project is global and requires continuous partnership with European and Global counterparts
-Partnering with European Finance key stakeholders and clients to identify gaps in the people and process improvement agenda
-Collaboration with counterparts in other regions and locations to ensure consistency and to share best practice
-Ongoing measurement of the success and impact of the people agenda and initiatives
-Representing the European People work streams such as Reward & Recognition, Goal setting, Being a leader, Charity
-Supporting the wider Global People Strategy - collaboration with US and Asia counterparts to contribute to Global initiatives
-Partnering with key department heads/COOs to provide support and ideas
-Website creation and maintenance
-General support the success of the COO projects and initiatives
As such, the successful Finance Project Manager will have the following skills and experience:
-Strong business analysis and project management skills
-The ability to develop high quality presentations to a senior audience
-Ideally Prince 2 qualified and an ACA or ACCA qualification
-Strong financial markets/products skills and commercial awareness
-Strong facilitator with the ability to influence people
-Discreet and professional
-Good organisational skills
-Strong understanding across various finance functions including product control
-Attention to detail
-Remain calm under pressure
