Government client requires a Business Development Manager/Sales/Account Manager to manage relationships with key customers and stakeholders of this Government client with the purpose of identifying and closing new business opportunities.

Building relationships in client target accounts at all levels, specifically at budget holder level Identifying Customer requirements for Client Services solutions, services and offers Managing new opportunities through the Client Service Commercial Process. Recording and tracking new opportunities through the appropriate systems and processes. Developing priced proposals for new business sales. Closing new business opportunities. Responding to customer complaints and escalating as appropriate. Security clearance To SC level will be be needed or willingness to be vetted. 6 months with possible extension The role will be based between Milton keynes and London

A strong background of Sales/Account management/Relationship Management
A background of selling Estates related services (Construction, Professional Services, FM)
A background of working within a Public Sector environment

Desirable
A background of Sales and Account Management with UK Central Government
A background of selling services related to security/secure facilities.
Communications Internal

On a daily basis:
With client Services end-user staff, at all grades, to discuss technical input on customer requirements. With client Services end-user staff, to develop costs and resources to deliver new requirements
With client Services senior management to escalate issues and develop customer/account strategy
With other Business Development staff to identify potential cross-selling opportunities.
External With customers at all levels.
