This is an excellent opportunity for a Mid-level Project Manager to work with one of our most dynamic clients. You will manage multiple small to mid-level projects within the IT organization and have overall responsibility for the delivery of projects within budget and schedule. Providing accurate status reporting, forecasting, project scheduling, scope and project financials management are important aspects of this position.

The Mid-level Project Manager will be responsible for
- Delivery of small to mid-sized infrastructure, security, data center and network projects on time, within budget, with a high degree of quality and in agreement with stated client requirements and objectives.
- Applying skills, tools, and techniques to project activities in order to meet or exceed client needs and expectations.
- Defines and prioritizes project requirements.
- Develops time and cost estimates, project plans, and budgets.
- Develops, monitors, and coordinates project activities, such as scheduling, tracking, and reporting.
- Manages/Creates issues and risk logs.
- Manages project financials, Scope change requests, etc.
- Provides work direction and leadership to assigned projects, including scheduling, assignment of work, and review of project efforts.
- Monitors project milestones and critical dates to identify potential jeopardy of project schedule.
- Assesses variances from the project plan, gathers metrics, and develops and implements changes as necessary to ensure that the project remains within specified scope and is within time, cost, and quality objectives.

Mid-level Project Manager required skills include
- Must have traditional project management skill set including the ability to build schedules, create and manage issue and risk logs, manage project financials, manage scope change requests, etc.
- Successful experience managing small to medium network projects.
- The ability to understand business objectives and how to meet those objectives essential. Basic Project Management and Team Leadership skills are needed, along with good communication skills.
- 4 to 6 years of documented Project Management experience. Experience with infrastructure, network, security and data center environments is a huge plus.
- Successful in working with all levels of management.
- Experience managing multiple vendors and third parties and managing project scope ensuring proper escalation for issues and risks is essential.
