Description
User Experience Specialist/Designer - Contract 3-6 MonthsOverview:
Responsible for working with the eCommerce team to design and define the customer experience of eCommerce Websites. Planning and conducting user, stakeholder and competitive research to drive personas and scenarios that results in concepts, annotated wireframes, interactive models, prototypes, functional specifications & requirements.
Description:
· Work closely with business teams to uncover business needs, develop design strategies, and build consensus.
· Plan, coordinate and conduct user research, contextual studies and usability testing
· Conceptualize and design user interfaces and information architecture using participatory design
· Produce personas, scenarios, process flows, site maps, annotated wireframes, design prototypes, functional design specifications and requirements for complex transactional web applications
Required Experience:
· 2-3 years of user experience design experience including B2C and B2B eCommerce
· Strong knowledge of user interface design processes and methodology, particularly as applied to web-based applications
· Excellent communication and organization skills
· Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Visio and Axure - Experience with research software such as Morae a plus
· Knowledge of capabilities and limitations of web technologies such as CMS, HTML, JavaScript, Flash, and CSS
Strongly Desired Experience:
· Masters degree in Human-Computer Interaction or a related design or behavioral science discipline
· Experience with mobile, Web 2.0 and rich internet concepts and delivery methodologies
· Experience with remote usability testing techniques and tools
