Hello, our health insurance client in San Francisco is looking for a Visual Designer for a year long contract. This could be contract to hire.
Here is the job description: VISUAL DESIGNER LEAD
Responsible for all aspects of Internet design with a strong understanding of Information Architecture.
Creates internal/external company web pages. Designs web page layout and online content, user interface graphics, icons, color schemes, content and infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
A leader in the creation, definition and delivery of the Online Services and/or Production Management materials and direction required to conduct business online. Proactively identifies needs and solutions; May instruct, guide and oversee work of other design professionals; Consults and makes recommendations to management on significant issues.
Responsible for developing and implementing new business processes, products and/or solutions in conjunction with implementing new/existing customer service approaches and/or technologies.
Responsible for online services related to day-to-day performance, accuracy, operation, understanding, support and maintenance.
Plays lead role in the development, implementation, enhancement, utilization and knowledge of eBusiness products and/or production processes.
Analyzes, develops, optimizes workflow guidelines/policies/procedures and works to assure they are clearly communicated.
Recognized (by outside departments/organizations) as eBusiness product or production management lead specialist/expert
Works independently and is looked to by others for extensive subject mater expertise, direction, and resolution of complex problems.
Knowledge encompasses entire scope of a technical discipline and has received recognition for development of one or more unique sub-specialties.
Highly developed designer uses all Adobe products. Advanced functional and Technical knowledge in Internet marketing. Excellent communication skills
A seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of multiple areas of specialization; resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways
Bachelors degree in design, multimedia, related field, or equivalent experience
Demonstrated abilities in web design, corporate design, and graphic design in an online portfolio required
8-10+ years of related experience required
Supervisory Responsibilities: Visual team. Manage the day to day activities. Responsible for team(s), results in terms of performance, planning, cost and approach
Assures team(s), functional area(s) are working in an integrated and coordinated manner with other company partners to enhance and maintain eBusiness activities
Ensures work flow, operation, and product support procedures and guidelines are clearly documented and communicated.
Responsible for staff (ie performance reviews and disciplinary matters) in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
May take leadership for development/oversight of vendor relationships.
May be responsible for multiple areas of production management.
