Our client has a one-year maternity leave job opening for a general systems operator. This non-profit organization works with local officials across the province on energy management issues with a focus on both consumption and environmental impact. It is an excellent opportunity to channel your professional efforts into and gain experience with helping local communities across Ontario.
A basic familiarity with energy-related issues, from usage and pricing through to greenhouse gas emissions, will set the prime candidate apart from the rest. This role demands excellent customer service and support skills combined with the ability to interpret, input and correct data.
Strong Excel and math skills as well as familiarity with uploading data files into web interfaces are an absolute must. You should have familiarity with taking screen captures in order to assemble basic user training materials using Word and PowerPoint.
First-rate time management skills combined with the persistence needed to ensure a comprehensive follow up with customers is of paramount importance.
