Capital Actuarial Analyst/Capital Actuary
A leading financial services company is currently looking to recruit on a long term contract, a part-qualified/qualified capital actuary to work on their Solvency II programme. This role sits within a dynamic actuarial team.
The Capital Actuary is sought to produce high quality actuarial input into various aspects of ICA & Solvency II projects, in particular the production, development & maintenance of ICA & Solvency II models. Prior knowledge in actuarial software such as Igloo would be useful & prior capital modelling experience essential.
You will need a strong understanding of actuarial models as well as the ability to understand business requirements.
As Capital Actuarial Analyst/Capital Actuary you will use your existing expertise to review & develop protection models for new products within the business. You will also be required to evaluate the current models & rebuild the models in accordance with the new business strategy. Key skills for the Capital Actuarial Analyst/Capital Actuary position:
Life, Capital Actuary who has experience with Solvency 2 experience ideally in Insurance.
Experience/involvement in:
Pricing.
Capital modelling.
Experience in Prophet/MoSes/Igloo.
Internal Model approach is useful.
