We are currently recruiting on behalf of a world renowned banking institution for an experienced and professional MI Business Analyst. Within Strategic Change Management, the Global Finance Change Programme will deliver to the Group a professional, effective and responsive finance service at optimal cost, employing a common and transparent global model. The MI Business Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Project Manager in delivery of the MI Project.

The role of MI Business Analyst will include:
Producing clear documentation and communication of project analysis, requirements
Coordinating and hold user requirements gathering and process definition workshops with the business
Agreeing documented user requirements with the business and Finance Systems
Co-ordinating testing and working through issues with users and IT
Monitoring, track issues, risks and dependencies on analysis and requirements work
Managing ad-hoc tasks as required
Coordinating and manage collation of user requirements, and user involvement in training and testing with the relevant business areas
Supporting user workshops and training programmes and participate in testing
Managing project tasks and upward reporting of status on "in progress" tasks
Ensuring Project Manager is kept apprised of the status of the assigned projects and activities
Producing bi-weekly status reports on project
Managing project plans and maintain these throughout life cycle of project
Controlling the monitoring, tracking and resolving of issues, risks and dependencies on analysis, requirements gathering, training and testing project tasks.
Ensuring all Intranet/Sharepoint content is up to date for projects

The successful candidate for the MI Business Analyst will demonstrate the following:
In-depth Finance background around one of Management reporting, Statutory and/or Regulatory reporting
Understands the full project life cycle from requirements through to implementation
Ability to professionally and effectively present information and respond to questions from all levels of management
Writing skills - ability to write project plans and other documents in a clear and compelling manner
ACA or other accounting qualification
Some formal business analysis qualification desirable
Excellent communication skills at all levels (both written and oral)
Experience of working as a project Business Analyst in a medium to large banking organisation
Proven experience in analysis, problem solving documentation and working to tight deadlines whilst achieving good quality outputs
Experience of managing and co-ordinating UAT testing processes - ie writing test scripts and managing test execution
