Description
We are seeking a Senior Technical Specialist to provide technical advice and expertise to support the development, implementation, support and administration of technology solutions in the TIBCO Messaging space. Your core responsibilities include:- Provide and deal appropriately with problems/issues that are raised/escalated after hours, participate in a 24 X 7 on-call support roster as well participate in after hours changes and quarterly patching
- Provide day-to-day technical support within the "business as usual environment"
- Work on projects as required and assist application support teams with performance tuning and troubleshooting
- Execute tasks associated follow the defined processes and procedures
- 3+ years experience installing, configuring, administering TIBCO messaging solutions (particularly BusinessWork, Administrator, Runtime Agent/HAWK/Rendezvous, EMS and ActiveMatrix Policy manager/Policy Agent) across multiple platforms and in accordance with architectural designs and enterprise standards, covering installations, configuration, deployment, tuning, technical support and troubleshooting in complex environments
- Identification and resolution of complex TIBCO problems/incidents using a thorough understanding of TIBCO architecture and administration, security concepts, application architectures, clustering and failover
- Good understanding of iProcess and WebSphere MQ
