Finance Commercial Manager

Telecoms Company is looking for a Finance Commercial Manager to be responsible for all aspects of the financial management for the Operations and IT aspects of the network consolidation programme, including management accounting and reporting, deal analysis and decision support and budgeting and forecasting.
Finance Commercial Manager knowledge:
Business Partnering
Act as business partner Operations and IT teams
Educate them on the drivers of their budgets and the impact of their activities on financial results, with the aim of ensuring complete financial accountability
Prepare detailed management reporting of results for review by directors internally and for presentation to parents
Financial analysis of commercial deals and decision support
Preparation of quarterly business plan reforecasts and annual business plans in conjunction with the business and presentation to parents.
Financial Management
Establish and maintain strong relationships with shareholders and vendor Finance teams.
Work with shareholders and vendors to continuously improve financial processes, systems and controls over the network consolidation programme, ensuring a strong control environment is maintained at all times
Ensure processes and controls are adequately documented and have been properly briefed to all stakeholders and users
Ensure appropriate governance, approval and financial management of project expenditure
Working with the Contract Management and Procurement teams, ensure the effective financial management of the operations and IT contracts
Work with other members of the Finance team, Shareholders and vendors to ensure the month-end process works effectively and all reporting timelines are met.
Provide ad hoc support to the Financial Controller as required.
Must-haves:
Academically proven, qualified accountant
Experienced financial manager, familiar with managing capex and opex in large, fast-moving and complex technology environments/programmes
Good inter-personal and influencing skills, able to achieve delivery through virtual teams
Nice-to-haves:
ACA qualified
Experience of network capex and opex management in a large Telco business.
