Service Development Analyst - (Cisco SIEM)
Service Development Analyst - (Cisco SIEM) required by our client a Network and infrastructure consultancy. This role is to deliver future services capabilities that are required by the business into operational use, bridging between service strategy and operational readiness. Service Development delivers this by receiving the high-level Service Design Package from the Service Strategy stage and delivering into the operational stage each necessary element required for ongoing operation and support of that service working with all necessary stakeholders. This role is specifically focused on development of our clients Managed Security Services capabilities.
Key Skills
Essential:
- An in depth understanding of Managed Security Services
- Network and Security Management Tools and Technologies
- In-depth working knowledge and experience of network and device management systems and techniques including SNMP, syslog, telnet, SDEE and SSH
- Working to an ITIL framework and including adoption of processes into working best practice systems.
- Ability to work to firm deadlines and to meet set objectives.
- Goal oriented, working to meet desired outcomes through both innovation and systematic approaches.
At least one of the following is essential:
- Network Professional or Expert level skills with Cisco Security, in particular with the Cisco ASA and IPS platforms
- Network Professional or Expert level skills with Fortinet FortiGate UTM platforms
Highly Desirable:
- An in depth understanding of Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms, especially eiQ SecureVue or one of the Cisco SIEM ecosystem partner platforms such as RSA enVision for example
- A working knowledge of ISO 27000 Information Security Standard
- XML, Scripting or similar skills are highly desirable.
Desirable:
- A working knowledge of the PCI-DSS standard
- A working knowledge of the GCSx Code of Compliance
