Group Risk Consultant
We are currently looking for a risk consultant To support initiatives to embed an enterprise risk management framework for the group.
The right candidate is going to be able to carry out the following:
- help drive the design and delivery of Solvency II compliant System of Governance
- facililitate the development and implementation of reverse stress testing
- support the development of a consistent set of risk appetite statements for the Group and solo entities, and the embedding of risk appetite in decision making.
- assist the oversight of the implementation, maintenance and embedding of risk policies (to be developed by the Financial and Operational Risk functions).
- To help to manage the external articulation of the Group's risk management strategy (eg to parties such as rating agencies)
skills include
- Good understanding of regulatory risk management, compliance, controls and governance within large organisations, including financial controls and understanding of financial risks facing life insurers.
- Good business understanding and knowledge of the UK Life industry.
- Understanding of FSA and where appropriate international regulatory requirements in relation to both prudential and business conduct. This includes the principles of treating customers fairly.
