Summary
The program of work is replacing existing Enterprise Merchandise System with SAP for deployment across major divisions.
This role is a senior role within the Architecture team.
Company currently uses SAP and another leading portal in its environment, as well as enterprise identify management (TIM/TAM).
We are looking to develop a Portal Strategy covering both pure SAP Portal and options for merging SAP Portal Content with IBM WebSphere Portal for both internal and external use.
Experience with SAP Portal as well as Portal in Portal and/or Portal content exposed through non-SAP Portals is required to be developed. Some prototyping may be required to be performed to validate or illustrate scenarios.
The deliverable is a Portal strategy document to be endorsed by Architecture management.
The applicant must be able to think strategy at an Enterprise level as well as being competent with SAP Portal technology and its roadmap.
The applicant is required to have:
- Excellent communication skills
- Architecture and design experience using SAP Portal 7.0 or later for both internal (Employee) and external (B2B) Audiences
- Architecture and design experience using a non-SAP portal. Ideally integrating SAP content or SAP portal with another portal.
- Proven lead capabilities, ability to execute and collaborate with other team members
- Track record delivering Portal strategies
- Experience delivering secure, high performance solutions
- Experience with user management strategies (eg. self service)
- A hands on approach - develop prototypes where required
- Be a self starter, able to run workshops to drive through issues
