Joining a well established project, this opportunity is for an experienced Application Administrator to work with the Environment and Configuration Managers and be part of a team that will oversee the project's IT Operations for both Infrastructure and Environments.The primary work of the candidate:- Assist the Environment's manager to plan changes to the environments and prepare documentation required to hand-over the production systems to BAU for Standard operation
- Oversee the Installation and Deployment of Applications, Databases
- Support the Environments manager in planning changes to the project
- Coordinate and negotiate with Test team leads on environment set-up and changes
- Liaise with Odyssey Architecture on environment development and strategy
- Troubleshoot application and operational issues associated with Odyssey deployments
- Support application testers resolving issues with system operations
- Work supporting the Odyssey Environment and Configuration Managers
- Have strong IT fault finding, problem solving and issue resolutions skills
- Required to build new WebSphere, MQ and ESB infrastructure based on industry best practice
- support WebSphere/MQ and ESB performance based on good understanding on Application Services and Platform integration requirements
- Involve in renewing certificates across WebSphere/WebSeal
- Involve in designing and configuring External and Internal Load Balancers using Edge Server
- Tuning WebSphere Database adapter configuration requirements for Oracle
- Extensive UNIX Scripting
- IBM WebSphere infrastructure
- Jython Scripting
- IBM WebSphere ESB Infrastructure
- IBM WebSphere MQ7.0 Infrastructure
- Oracle Customer and Care Billing System
- Extensive experience in Oracle 11g and in Storage Management
- Extensive experience on IBM WebSphere and ESB Tuning Methodologies
