The Messaging Specialist is a Technical Services Professional responsible for the provision of services to a customer.As a member of a team, the Messaging Specialist is responsible for the successful delivery of services within the Service Levels.
The role requires taking ownership of the end user support of the infrastructure and working in a collaborative manner with other teams. The Messaging Specialist is responsible for problem, incident, request and change management delivery and at times will assist the Account Leader to provide analytical support necessary to develop and implement solutions for small to medium size projects, or components/elements of larger projects. Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
- Ensuring/maintaining the technical integrity of the messaging environment
- Liaise with dependent areas for changes impacting the Messaging environment
- Review and maintain messaging and collaborated objects standards to ensure currency
- Responsible for the identification of security exposures, risks and mitigation
- Responsible for the creation, modification and review of technical process documents
- Part of a team for the successful and ongoing delivery of a technical infrastructure review that involves identification for improvement and management of those activities
- MS Exchange, Blackberry, Proofpoint, Sharepoint and other supported Collaborated Objects
- General platform skills (Windows)
- Solid communication skills
