Configuration Managment Build Engineer

As a Configuration Management Build Engineer you will help developing/enhancing the existing build scripts and tools that will improve the efficiency of development build cycles, release packaging, and configuration management processes. The position will work with a wide variety of tools and the ideal candidate will be experienced in a number of technologies including .NET applications and SQL.
Primary Responsibilities
Role Specific
Create/enhance existing automated build scripts for code compilation and packaging.
Create/enhance packaging software using InstallShield and Visual Patch
Years of Experience:
5 years of Configuration Management experience, preferably in large scale enterprise projects, performs Build Engineering activities. Software Development experiences in Microsoft .NET a plus.
Technical Skills:
Solid hands-on experience with build tools (Final builder/Cruise Control/Hudson)
Solid hands-on experience with packaging and deployment tools (InstallShield 2010/Wise/Visual Patch/True Update)
Strong experience with formal software development processes
Experience on distributed source control systems preferably Mercurial.
Experience integrating automation into the process
Experience .NET programming language and Visual Studio 2010 is desirable.
Scripting/development languages including: VBScript, JavaScript
Understanding of various config files, .ini, .XML, etc and how to manipulate via automation
Knowledge of Windows, file locations, registry, services, etc
Knowledge of procmon and other troubleshooting utilities
Familiarity with working in virtual environments such as VM Ware/Virtual PC to test build scripts and installations on the multi language/operating systems..
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to document processes.
