German based property company specialising in commercial investment projects. They opened up a UK office of the company in 2011, based in the City of London, which focuses heavily on property investments as well as private wealth management. The company will also be expanding into other investment activities as they progress. A brief outline of the key functions of the analyst role is shown below. The role will work alongside the UK Director who will focus on new business opportunities.
Research new markets and industries for potential deals
Design and build complex financial models for valuation and analytical exercises.
Produce comparable transaction multiples (EBITDA, EBIT, PE) and analyse premiums paid
Triangulate a company's value using multiples based valuation, discounted cash flow models and current trading value
Undertake cash flow and economic modelling for fund acquisitions
Preparation of deal pitch books for marketing purposes to attain new clients
Compile presentations regarding valuation advice and strategic options within specific transactions.
Assist in the due diligence process of potential transactions, assessment of risk exposure etc.
Someone with at least a couple of years experience, and ideally having worked in an investment bank or smaller boutique type establishment would be great, as they would have likely been involved in preparing pitch books for clients, and the accompanying financial modelling, which is essential for this role.
