Mechanical/Component Design Engineer/3 months/URGENT/AberdeenMy client is looking for a mechanical/component design engineer to work on conceptual ideas for a current project.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
Experience of Oil and Gas or Nuclear. The key experience is dealing with piping & vessels.
Project is a feasibility study of ways to decommission a north sea platform specifically working on accessing the structure via piping routes.
Role will involve working through design for solutions to do this ie remote vehicle options or similar solutions.
Anyone with solidworks or Inventor would be advantage but not essential.
Anyone with experience of accessing via pipelines is what the client is looking for.
