Summary
This position is for a Senior Software Quality Analyst to assist and partner with an established team environment in the design, development, and implementation methods used to test, troubleshoot and verify newly developed or redesigned software applications in a fast moving, changing environment.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and use them to plan and prepare test documentation.
- Execute test scripts and analyze the results.
- Capable of working as an individual or as a member of a team while reporting directly to a team leader or manager.
- Have a high degree of technical understanding and be able to follow and participate in meetings.
- Have a background in the financial sector. Experience in the Credit Card/Merchant Processing arena would be preferred. Banking would be an acceptable alternative.
Qualifications
- Bilingual (Spanish or Portuguese) a must
- 5-7 years Mainframe testing - Experience must be more than Mainframe platforms because this position will work with Java, .NET and Mainframe. Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server and DB2 databases.
- Be familiar as a user with Windows and at least one non-windows (DOS, Unix, etc) operating system.
- Experience with writing and executing own Test Plans and Test Cases and have High volume transaction processing experience
- Payment Processing experience is a MUST
- Strong Backend testing a MUST
