High Level Job Description: This role will be part of the DMO Data Governance Team focused on data governance initiatives at PepsiCo in support of One Up SAP projects, Legacy projects and day to day baseline data management activities. The Data Governance Specialist will develop and formalize data governance strategies, policies, processes and procedures. The role will work closely with Data Governance team leads, other DMO teams and other transformation/business and IT support teams.
Job Description:
1. Work with the BIS International COE Functional teams to define and implement data governance and quality policies to manage creation and changes to the data design and standards of the PIRT solution: Ensure that changes to the PI Data Standards are documented and communicated in a timely fashion to COE Functional Teams, Sectors and Markets Monitor adherence to the PI Data Standards within the global template instance of the PIRT and the Sector SAP production instances Perform SAP configuration for selected Data Objects within the PIRT template within his/her functional area of expertise (particularly the Product Hierarchy, Material Groups, Classifications and Customer Hierarchy) 2. Work with the BIS International sector and local Data & Project teams to: Communicate PI Data Standards and provide training to gain acceptance, compliance and perform impact analysis Review existing data quality levels in each Sector SAP production instance to identify and coordinate corrective actions that drive continuous improvement in data quality Follow data governance processes and SLAs to manage the change requests received from sectors and markets, leveraging the PIRT Methods and Tools standards (SOLMAN, OVSD) Support SAP market deployments by executing data governance processes within the deployment project phases from blueprint through go-live and sustain Provide input, review and updates to the data governance processes based on continuous feedback from sector and market teams

Required Qualifications
Good understanding of business processes, especially as they relate to Master Data in large-scale ERP environments, and the use and impacts of data to represent business functions & entities Experience of SAP required in at least one core ECC modules, such as FI, CO, SD (in either a functional or technical capacity) Strong knowledge & experience of the project development life cycle for implementing and supporting IT solutions within a corporate environment Bachelor Degree with minimum 2 years professional experience in corporate IT/business environment.
