Volt are recruiting for a major pharmaceuticals organisation based in West London for an interim Finance Analyst.
THE ROLE:
Preparation of Income Statement and Balance sheet journals
Promote and initiate process improvements in relation to the reporting of the revenues and costs relating to divested products.
Maintain strong communication with Regional and Corporate finance staff in regard to all aspects of monthly financial reporting.
Investigate and resolve queries from management in a timely manner in accordance with the terms of the commercial agreement
Provision of guidance to entities and Regional Finance on issues arising from the requirements of the commercial agreements.
Preparation and maintenance of relevant process documentation to meet Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
Ad hoc support for the preparation of the Annual Report
Liaising with PwC in relation to the audit and the audit of Global Incorporated
Prepare the annual divested product profit reconciliation and issue to management
Involvement in ad-hoc projects as required.
Responsible for drafting and obtaining agreement to Group instructions relating to reporting and consolidation of divested products.
THE PERSON:
Educated to Degree Level.
Member of Professional Finance Institute (eg ICAEW)
Strong interpersonal, communication & effective influencing skills.
Flexible thinking and focus on process improvement through standardization and simplification of processes
Assist in the delivery of continuous improvement in reporting cycles and quality of information.
Results focus, planning & prioritising, meeting deadlines & delivering results.
Accuracy/attention to detail/integrity in producing results and with limited supervision
