Main Duties
Clinical Management
· The Senior Practitioner will have knowledge, skills and competencies in the assessment, implementation, evaluation and management of acute, chronic and complex wounds and will implement research based practice.
· Act as an expert resource for staff within Barnet Community Services, giving advice on the prevention, assessment and management of acute, chronic and complex wounds, according to Barnet Community Services guidelines.
· Make referrals and liaise with other services and specialists as required and maintain links with relevant agencies and organisations locally and nationally.
· To develop clinical skills of staff in clinics, wards and community settings.
· Work within a framework of clinical governance
