Internal Recruiter - Global Aviation/Defence Organisation

Our client require an Internal Recruiter on a Contract basis for 3 months within their avaiation/defence organisation.

The main purpose of the role is to work with hiring managers to define job roles, manage requisitions and source candidates either directly or via the recruitment advertising team.

Responsibilities:

- Coach and guide hiring management through the staffing policy, process and the system.
- Manage the requisitions through the Staffing System by helping both hiring managers and applicants to successively complete the necessary steps in the process.
- Support hiring managers in defining roles and writing job descriptions working with the HR Generalist and compensation and benefits focal to determine the level and job codes.
- Agree sourcing strategy with hiring manager and proactively investigate sourcing options. Work closely with the recruitment advertising team as well as building relationships with preferred agency suppliers.
- Develop and present employment offers, agreements, relocation packages in cooperation with the compensation and benefits focal, the HR Generalist and as applicable global mobility focal, ensure implementation of employment agreement terms and conditions with regard to pay and benefits working with suppliers, global payroll and local office/business management
- Initiate COI review with the legal team and follow up to ensure timely review and candidate is awareness of the process.
- Support hiring managers in setting up interviews, developing interview questions and participating in interviews where required.
- Staffing administration support as required.
- All other duties necessary to support the staffing function.

Competencies: 

Excellent organisation skills with ability to prioritise workload and work to tight deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work with people at all levels of the organisation. Team work is essential as is building strong working relationships across multiple functions as well as with external consultancies. A good level of accuracy is required in all aspects of the role. Able to take initiative to ensure that tasks are completed in a timely manner. Good computing skills and experience working with a recruitment management system and Microsoft Office products. Good knowledge of HR policies as they relate to the resourcing and recruitment. Results oriented and able to work under pressure
