Description
Working closely with the multiple Finance teams to provide expert input, review and challenge on accounting policy matters. Developing relationships and collaborating with contacts from across a wide range of Group Functions including. Assessing the impact of statutory and regulatory changes, particularly with respect to IFRS9 and IFRS 10, and ensure any statutory and regulatory outputs are fully compliant with Group Policy. Delivering a range of ad hoc analyses and presentations, as well as providing in depth information to support senior business, finance and any other relevant stakeholders. Supporting the Deputy CFO to ensure Finance remains at the forefront of new initiatives.
Qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA
Requires minimum 5+ years of relevant financial services experience
Strong technical knowledge and commercial focus
Experience of multiple stake holder management
Ability to operate with credibility at MD and Board level, working with and challenging senior managers on a regular basis.
Well developed analytical and interpretative skills.
Previous experience specifically on IAS39 and exposure to IFRS9 and IFRS10
