Senior Business Analyst - Transaction banking - Product Rationalisation - Amsterdam - Dutch Transaction Banking systems

Following the recent takeover of a considerable number of client accounts from another bank, our client a leading Global Corporate Bank is now heavily involved with the Product Rationalisation aspects, spanning all the different types of customer. ie Midcaps, SMEs, PIs and BCs.

To ensure the smooth migration into the new owners operational/financial environment, our client now has the need to hire the above professional who is fully conversant with this side of the Banking business, as they are going to be accountable for:
- Reviewing all the newly acquired client accounts existing products (such as: `As-it products' and `Corresponding to be products')
- Comparing `as-is' against `to-be'
- Identifying the type of impact these changes are going to make with respect to existing in-house parameters, pricing, branding and layout
- What actions need to be taken with respect to client data, re-papering and distribution of material
- What the impact is going to have on staff and management from a training perspective.
- Will be accountable for co-ordinating the identification of client changes and follow up actions.
- To secure the necessary support from the clients and in-house business communities to effectively address re-papering issues arising commercial, technical and/or regulatory reasons.
- Will be responsible for the creation of product/marketing material and distribution, as well as training implications for both the client and Bank.
- To ensure that every internal party is working to the same tune by keeping close contact with all the relevant product owners (ie CMC, Lending, Trade Finance, CTS, Product Rationalisation, Mortgages, Insurance and leasing, Securities, as well as the Business As Usual line management who look after the clients (Midcaps, SMEs and PIs), with respect to how the changes are going to impact upon the internal staff and daily operations.
- To identify any training implications relating to internal staff and clients in order to understand the changes which are going to take place and how they this will be achieved (internally).

Overall the Product Manager is going to be accountable for the careful review of every account in order to identify if the existing products can be maintained or have to be replaced by other products or other accounts. Candidates therefore must offer excellent knowledge of corporate banking products currently on offer in this part of the World.
