Title: IT Project Manager
Duration: 6 mos+ (renewable per quarter)
Location: San Jose, CA

Qualified candidates should have experience with information technology projects, customer support management and quality assurance management. Detailed requirements are outlined below.

- 6 years minimum experience IT project management
- 3 year minimum experience with online, virtual or hybrid events
- Proven expertise in developing and executing IT project production plans with high degree of on-time and bug-free solution delivery
- B.S. or B.A. degree or equivalent work experience
- Highly articulate and detail oriented with strong written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to remain focused on delivering on short-term tactical objectives while maintaining the strategic direction for the program
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
- Extremely flexible and adaptable
- Collaborative and solutions-oriented
- Positive outlook and attitude

Responsibilities:

- The primary responsibility of this position is to manage the location management tools, functional testing coordination and quality assurance processes.
- Simultaneously manage the day-to-day work of one or more projects
- Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, project schedules, risk analyses and effort estimates.
- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
- Track project milestones and deliverables.
- Report progress to the project team and the management team
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
- Monitor and control the progress of analysis, design, program development, testing, reporting, releases, deployments, training and documentation tasks.
- Proactively manage project issues and risks, and promptly escalate relevant issues to senior management
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
- Assist team members in their duties, tasks, responsibilities and functions.
- Where required, negotiate with other department managers for the acquisition of required personnel from within the company.
- Determine and assess need for additional staff and/or consultants and make the appropriate recruitments if necessary during project cycle.
- Lead the development and production of the location management tool in collaboration with the Location Manager Lead
- Vendor management
- Lead internal quality assurance reviews
- Manage location management tool reporting solution including designing custom reports in collaboration with the Location Manager Lead
- Data entry of location data
- Train local contacts, as applicable, on technology needed to execute at physical locations
- Provide weekly work stream updates
- Responsible for managing post event debrief meetings and documenting debrief results for areas of responsibility
- Attend staff and core team meetings in person in San Jose
