Job Description
Responsible for leadership and execution of the projects. Involves managing large, cross-functional projects that span the entire CLIENT enterprise in such areas as: desktop computing, messaging, wireless technologies, Internet and web technologies, voice and data networks, data centers, mobile computing, business continuity planning and execution, change management, and security authentication and authorization. Lead the entire aspect of each managed project: not only technology implementation, but also management of budget, communications of impacts to users, and setup of post-implementation support and incident management.
Required Skills
- Demonstrate strong people skills: be proactive, respectful of people, consultative, team focused, and exhibit relationship management skills
- Experience in managing large, global programs
- Experience in the following industries: Bio-Tech, Pharma, Healthcare
- Advanced Microsoft Project Server skills and experience utilizing master/sub-project capabilities
- Strong work breakdown structure (WBS) development, management and tracking skills
- Timely identification/mitigation of issues/risks work with team leads to facilitate identification, mitigation, and resolution of issues and risks.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to easily relate to core project team members and stakeholders
- Flexible and able to multitask: can easily adapt in an environment with constantly changing priorities
- Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills
