Experienced Contract Administrator needed for a long term contract position at a growing Lexington, KY manufacturing company.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in contracts administration.
Bachelor's degree and paralegal or law firm experience is preferred.
A strong knowledge of software development process is a plus.
The contract administrator will administer contracts for software development, assists software development product managers in understanding contract impacts on software engineering teams in terms of developer obligations and restrictions.
Will also work as a consultant to product managers to help them more efficiently communicate with corporate supply based management and legal during the negotiation of the contract.
Will monitor and manage contract after execution to ensure that software engineering abides by contract terms and ensures that renewals, royalties, and other payments are performed on time.

The primary responsibilities will include:
* Administration of royalty payments and annual software maintenance contracts and payments
* Preparation and administration of software distribution agreements
* Create and maintain, on a daily basis, an accurate contract database for 3rd party contracts, retention and retrieval of contracts, and contract related documents such as proposals, contracts, subcontracts and deliverables (soft and hard copies), as well as ensure the integrity and security of contract hard files.
* IP Governance - enforce compliance with licensing terms in software development area.
* Review current contract systems and recommend continued systems improvements in order to streamline processes and improve functionality.
* Work as a liaison to internal clients to ensure understanding of and adherence to appropriate policies, administrative procedures and practices.
* Coordinate across business units for review of new projects, etc.

* EULA (End User License Agreement) Administration - coordination among legal, information development, and software development at the request of IP Law.
* Review of general licensing terms of software tools
* Knowledge of copyright, trademark and/or patent law
* Knowledge of various types of databases
* Knowledge of Open Source licensing terms
