A well know finance company is URGENTLY seeking a Senior Business Analyst with FX/MM experience. You will work end to end within the trade life cycle. You will write business cases through to implementation/delivery. This is an exciting project that requires a proactive nature. This is a contract position located in Sydney.
Responsibilities:
- Gathering and documenting Business Requirements for process, system and reporting initiatives
- Estimate system costs, prepare definitions and schedules, and evaluate system performance to ensure efficiency.
- Assist in the management of projects and build relationships with users & management
- Provide training, demonstrations and presentations to senior management
- Implement changes to improve efficiency & functionality.
- Lead or participate as a proactive team member to own and deliver assigned project work through the full development cycle
- In depth knowledge of trade life cycle of FX and Money Markets products
- Work closely with the Front Office/sales/trading and IT
- Excellent communication skills and have the ability to lead and motivate teams
Essential Criteria:
- 5+ years Markets and FX experience in the Front Office
- Must have 5 plus years BA experience this includes authoring Business Requirements specifications (functional & non function requirements) and requirements traceability matrices.
- Must have previous experience authoring to be and as is process maps
- Must have previous experience managing stakeholder groups. Elicitation of requirements, resolution of stakeholder requirement conflicts, stakeholder engagement.
- Previous experience facilitating workshops.
- Candidate must have demonstrated strong experience in stakeholder engagement and strong influencing skills. Must be able to influence at all levels of the organisation.
