Description
Our client has an opportunity for an experienced General Accountant to join their team.The main duties will involve the following (but not limited to):
- To assist the ongoing development and implementation of methods and procedures for the preparation of budgets.
- Recommend forecasting policies, practices and financial models to improve planning and forecasting.
- In conjunction with the Finance Manager and team, ensure timely production of monthly performance reports.
- Participate in the development of management reporting systems and accounting methods to improve existing procedures or the communication of management information.
Skills required for the role include: (but not limited to):
- The General Accountant is expected to carry-out his/her responsibilities and accountabilities in accordance the Group's policies and procedures, including its Code of Conduct, as set-out from time to time.
- CIMA/CA/CPA part-qualified accountant with a minimum of 2 years experience in financial modelling, specifically budgeting and forecasting.
- Ability to be creative and think laterally for solutions, solve problems in the context of rapid change and focus on results and outcomes.
- Aptitude for self-direction and motivation
