CCIE Network Consultant - Kansas City - Financial - Contract
My financial client is seeking an experienced Network Design Consultant to work onsite for a financial client in Kansas City.
You will be responsible for leading, managing and providing support for the following activities:
*Cisco CatOS -> IOS Upgrade/Conversion
*Sup-I/Sup-II upgrades to Sup-720C
*10G Upgrade throughout Data Center Network (DCN)
*Design and implement Layer-3 routing (OSPF, BGP, ISIS)
*Re-configure network L3 routing to network edge
*Re-design Layer-2 to alleviate performance bottlenecks
*Implement Regional MPLS eWAN
*Design and implement dedicated NAS/Backup Network (Cisco Nexus 7k)
Additional Duties & Responsibilities:
*Position will report to the Director of Infrastructure Architecture
Required Skill Set:
*Strong communication skills to communicate at Director, VP and CIO level
*CCIE with minimum of 3-Years Data Center Network
*BGP, OSPF, Spanning Tree, QoS, Multi-Cast
Preferred Skill Set:
*Project lead with strong soft skills - PMP certified highly desirable
*Working knowledge of ITIL processes - Specifically Service Operations
Successful candidates must be CCIE and well experienced in financial organisations.
