Description
We have several openings for Firewall Administrators with CheckPoint experience. These are long-term, contract opportunities with an enterprise level organization with the work able to be done remotely.
Qualified individuals will have strong communication skills (verbal and written communication skills, strong command of English Language) and proven experience of working across cultures and boundaries.
DUTIES:
1. Responsible for administration of network Firewalls. On call/shift work required.
2. Responsible to translate client requirements in to detailed actions for execution.
3. Required to follow detailed change management and incident management processes.
4. Investigate and resolve incident tickets.
5. Communicate with other technical teams regarding Firewall operations.
6. Troubleshoot traffic passing managed Firewalls.
7. Troubleshoot connectivity issues through Firewalls.
8. Utilize packet capture features to aid in analysis of network issues.
9. Responsible to review work products from Level 1 support organization and mentor level 1 personnel to meet quality and timeliness requirements.
REQUIRED:
1. 3 to 5 years experience with CheckPoint Firewalls.
2. Excellent TCP/IP Networking skills.
3. Excellent communication skill in English - both writing and speaking.
4. Ability to work within a global organization with different cultures.
5. Detail Oriented with ability to work in a fast paced environment.
