IMMEDIATE Opening for Project Manager

Required Qualifications:

  • Seven to ten years of IT Project Management Experience (preferably in the Human Resources, Human Capital areas)
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or comparable job-related experience is required
  • Strong understanding of Project Management Methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
  • Demonstrable ability to successfully deliver technical solutions to business problems
  • Demonstrable leadership and coaching skills
  • Demonstrable communication skills
  • Demonstrable planning skills
  • Demonstrable knowledge of Information Engineering Methodology
  • Strong prioritization skills
  • Demonstrable knowledge of quality standards
  • Demonstrable knowledge of IT methodology
  • Demonstrable knowledge of office suite products and project planning tools

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience implementing and/or supporting Learning Management Systems (Plateau, Docent, Success Factors)
  • Time management skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Negotiating skills
  • Retail systems and business knowledge
  • Four-year degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
  • Advanced degree in business or technical subject areas is helpful
  • Knowledge of general accepted computing controls
  • CSM, Certified Scrum Master, PMP (Project Management Professional)

Responsibilities:
The Project Manager is responsible for the management of various projects and/or the maintenance of application systems for assigned functional areas. The Project Manager works closely with other Solution Delivery area partners, the IT liaison to the business, other IT departments and user management in the analysis, design, scheduling, development, and implementation of new software systems and the maintenance of current systems. The Project Manager:

Manages day-to-day operational aspects of project which includes but is not limited to:
Identifies resource needs and monitors individual activities
Project planning and estimating
Produces/reviews status reports and take action on issues
Manage issues to timely resolution
Identify and track risks
Monitoring project hours
Budget tracking with Business Solutions or other appropriate parties
Manages financial, temporal, and deliverable scopes of projects Occasional off-hours support as needed
Facilitate weekly status meetings
Reviews and approves deliverables prepared by team
Ensures documents are complete, current and stored in appropriate location
Complies with Lowe's methodology, enforces policies, standards, including internal and external controls
Manage offsite resources
Manage 3rd party software vendors
Leads employee personnel which includes:

Conducts timely reviews, providing feedback, coaching and mentoring to all direct reports
Align goals with Delivery objectives and company goals
Motivates team members by consistent acknowledgement of achievements
