Through securing this contract Test Automation role in the CBD, you will become part of dynamic team and work alongside the Test Manager and other Automation Testers, to develop automation scripts within QTP and test cutting-edge web services applications.
As a Systems Test Analyst, you will be required to review initial business requirements and functional specs, develop test plans and test cases for execution, set-up test environments, conduct functional and system testing of web applications and most importantly, develop QTP automation framework and maintain/write test scripts in VB.
In-depth knowledge of VB Scripting and QTP is a MUST for this role!
Your Requirements:
In addition to a solid background in System and Integration testing within a Web-based environment, you will require a strong blend of the following skills:
- Demonstrable experience of creating Automation Test Frameworks and Automating Test Scripts
- Experience of automating regression tests and designing automated test solutions
- Strong working knowledge of VB Scripting.
- 2+ years of working with QTP at Framework Design level and ability to write and maintain test scripts.
- Solid understanding of the SDLC and various testing methodologies - Agile.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Computer Science/IT Degree qualified
