Our client, a leading investment bank, currently seeks a Corporate Actions Project Manager , to be based in London.
The Corporate Actions Project Manager will be responsible for:
- Managing project plans, resource estimates and projected time lines
- Budgeting management
- Client and stakeholder management and liaison
- Ensuring solutions exceed current industry benchmarks
- Ensuring that detailed business requirements are gathered and documented
- Identifying project issues and ensuring they are resolved in a timely manner
- Identifying and mitigating project risks
- Chairing regular project team meetings
- Producing regular progress reports
- Managing virtual and remotely located teams
As such, the successful Corporate Actions Project Manager will have the following skills and experience:
- Experience in Corporate Actions processing
- Thorough understanding of what it takes to be successful in a complex, dynamic and global environment
- Strong ability to deal with a range of issues
- Experience interacting and working with multiple clients, both internal and external
- The ability to work closely with users, business analysts, developers, testers and support staff
- Strong commercial awareness of the securities industry, especially Global Custody, Prime Brokerage and Fund of Hedge Fund
- Good knowledge of web portal design and development principles
- Strong personality, capable to presenting complex arguments and achieving the correct decision from sponsors, Programme Manager and peer group
- Able to work in a high pressure environment and manage priorities effectively
- Driven to achieve high quality output, building plans and executing them to achieve the end objectives
