Description
An Operational Risk Analyst is required to join an Operations Control department in a Major Global Investment Bank.
The Business Service's Division within this major Investment Bank centralises control functions, predominantly handling Corporate and Investment Banking business, with a focus primarily on transaction processing risk and operational risk.
The Division requires an Operational Risk to contribute to Counterparty risk assessment and project work involving assessment of IT applications and their associated risk.
The role will involved primarily work on a number of control initiatives being managed by the team. These include an End User Developed Application review and support to the Counterparty Default Monitoring Process.
Essential Skills Required For the Position:
- Clear and demonstrable grounding in Investment Banking at a global Financial Services company.
- Excellent knowledge of Operational Risk and Control within a major bank
- Good understanding of the project lifecyle.
- Confident self starter with a demonstrable ability to build good business relationships.
- Strong product knowledge (traded products)
