Synergis is currently working with alarge utility company in the Birmingham, AL. area to help them locate a
Weblogic Administrator. This position
will be a long term contract located at our clients’ corporate office in
Birmingham.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 6-7 years of strong IT professional experience
in Enterprise Oracle (BEA) Weblogic Infrastructure administration/managing
and providing end to end Infrastructure solution for a business critical
application on Windows hardware.
Main Skills
·
Strong knowledge of Oracle (BEA) Weblogic 8.x/9.x/10.x
installation, configuration, deployment, administration on Windows hardware
required.
·
Strong Experience with the design, implementation and
operation of highly available clustered enterprise applications required.
·
Expert level knowledge of Administration,
troubleshooting, Performance & tuning and root cause analysis on Windows
hardware required.
·
Must possess excellent knowledge and expertise in
java/J2EE technologies like JSP, JDBC, RMI, JMS, JNDI and JTA etc.
·
Ability and Knowledge of Scripting language including
shell and Perl to automate monitoring and maintenance tasks for high visible
infrastructure.
·
Proficient in JVM performance fine tuning and other
performance enhancement techniques.
·
Strong knowledge of IT and Web Security such as LDAP,
SSL certificates.
·
Knowledge of J2EE environment monitoring tools and
technology.
·
Flexible working hours. Required to participate in an
on call rotation (includes evenings, weekends and holidays). Must work in fast
paced environment.
·
Ability to support 7/24 on-call duties.
·
Oracle/SQL Database Knowledge a plus.
·
Coordination of resolution efforts and communication
with appropriate team members.
·
Recommends, implements, and supports standards and
practices.
