A leading Technology Blue Chip currently seeks a Marketing Consultant for a 9 month contract starting ASAP. The Marketing Planning Advisor will have responsibilities across the EMEA Public and Large Enterprise (PLE) businesses in ownership of the Marketing plan. This role will involve driving the timelines and milestones in the planning process to accurately represent the regional needs to the global teams and communication to the wider community. This will occur through continuous interaction with the stakeholder community.
The Marketing Planning Advisor is primarily responsible for the following areas:
Managing the planning process in EMEA PLE
Providing tools to stakeholders in documentation and communication of priorities
Consolidating the half year marketing plans
Estimating budget allocation to the Integrated Marketing and Communications Programs (IMCP) teams, Events, Public Relations, and all other stakeholders
The ideal candidate for this role will have 4-5 years of experience in Marketing with some or all of the following disciplines: Planning, budgeting, business management, and general marketing.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Planning Process
Own the EMEA PLE planning process in terms of timelines, milestones, and deliverables
Include all stakeholders in the planning process for input and agreement on priorities and subsequent plans
Link into the budgeting process to insure plans are within budget and meet leads, pipeline, and thought leadership goals
Develop key templates to facilitate the gathering and communication of priorities and plans
Plan Consolidation and Communication
Be the point of consolidation for the half year Marketing plan
Communicate the plan across the stakeholder community for agreement with Marketing Director, Solutions Director, Regional Marketing Leads, IMCP pod and domain leaders
Relationship Building
Building strong ties to the stakeholder community to insure a network of information flow
