My client is an independent care group specialising in the provision of care for people with learning disabilities and a variety of complex needs. They have a really interesting opportunity for an experienced Interim Manager to work with the senior management team of the business to ensure the highest standard of care is achieved. The facility is based in centrally in the UK and they need someone experienced in social care and in working with regulatory bodies. However, what is also very important is operational leadership and people management experience. The successful candidate will need experience of developing operational businesses ideally in a LD residential care home environment. A large part of this role will involve supporting and developing commercial and clinical procedures and staff with the manager. The successful candidate must have had previous experience in LD homes although other healthcare businesses may be considered. The successful candidate needs to be a strong leader and will be able to make commercial decisions and help develop the existing manager. The assignment will run for 3 months initially. This is a fantastic opportunity to help develop a superb commercial clinical service and ensure the running of the homes is of the very best in the sector.
