Our client, a leading Investment Bank, currently seeks a Global Fund Projects, Project Manager, to be based in their London Office.
The Global Fund Projects, Project Manager will be part of the team responsible for project managing the set-up of Managed Accounts on the securities division.
The Global Fund Projects, Project Manager. will be responsible for:
-Planning, execution, monitoring, control and closure of a managed account set-up whilst working towards a set deadline
-Fund legal docs
-Counterparty documents & set up administrator connectivity
-Due diligence
-Involves managing the following groups of people/service providers whilst working towards a specific deadline:
oInternal resources (legal/operations/tax/IT/risk)
oHedge fund Managers/legal counsel
oFund Administrator
oCounterparties (PB's/Futures Clearers/ISDA)
oCompany administrators (Managed Account Directors/legal counsel)
As such, the successful Global Fund Projects, Project Manager will have the following skills and experience:
-Project management skills
-General knowledge around the hedge fund industry (hedge fund: legal structures; operational flows and strategies)
-Personal and project leadership - ability to drive the project
-Project planning, initiation and organization - ability to multi-task
-Effective problem management - ability to address and solve problems within and outside the team
-Be flexible to change in priorities
-Work towards set/agreed timeframes
-A solid investment banking background is essential
