Sr. SQL Server DBAOur large Energy client in Charlotte, NC is looking for a Sr. SQL Server DBA for a 6-month contract. The SQL DBA team is responsible for the 24x7 availability of mission critical databases in production environment and User Acceptance, Development, and Test environments for fast-paced delivery. There is a high expectation in availability, performance and scalability to support the tremendous growth of various applications within the company. This is a support role and therefore Call out duties will be required.
The DBA team is responsible for the design, build, ongoing maintenance, failure avoidance, detection and repair of the SQL Server databases associated with the applications.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Must have very large database experience.
- Must have excellent verbal communication skills – will work with customers.
- 1-2 years Data Warehouse experience.
- 6-9 years of SQL Server experience.
- Expected to work on site.
