Our client, a leading Securities Servicing Institution, currently seeks a Senior Corporate Actions Business Analyst, to be based in Canary Wharf.
The Senior Corporate Actions Business Analyst will be part of a strategic programme which been initiated to produce a world class client facing portal for existing and prospective clients.
The Senior Corporate Actions Business Analyst will be responsible for:
-Analysing and mapping existing business processes
-Working with SMEs and clients to define and implement new operating and process models for specific business functions
-Facilitating workshops and data gathering exercises
-Defining and documenting business requirements
-Reporting both formally and informally
-Undertake business analyst tasks as part of the project life cycle including the development of process maps, business requirement documents, functional specifications, test and business migration plans
-Analysis of business requirements and relative priority for the creation of an effective, suitable and scalable Asset Servicing web Front End solution
-Liaising with the Design Authority to define and agree an Asset Servicing product offering and prioritisation
-Working with and directing business SMEs and client contacts to define new processes or operating models
-Identifying tasks and actions needed to ensure successful implementation of the project
-Preparing test plans and ensuring test programmes are successfully carried out in conjunction with Business users, the test team and IT
-The Candidate should remain abreast of all relevant industry initiatives/developments in the area of Corporate Actions processing and to consider these initiatives as part of any change management programmes/projects
As such, the successful Senior Corporate Actions Business Analyst will have the following skills and experience:
-A strong analyst, well versed in a variety of business analytical techniques
-Good knowledge of the securities industry, especially Global Custody
-Structured and disciplined approach
-Able to engage with and win trust of business SMEs and external clients
-Able to form successful working relationships with IT
-Strong communicator both verbally and in writing
-Able to work in a high pressure environment and manage priorities effectively
-Experience working within web portal/E-commerce projects
