Contract Analyst
The Contract Analyst will be the point of contact and lead contract negotiations between UPS and its customers. The Contract Analyst must be able to strategically manage and direct contracts to closure. He/she must have the ability to draft and approve legally binding contractual language to mitigate risks for UPS while also keeping UPS in compliance with company policy. The Contract Analyst will advise and train internal stakeholders regarding contract issues and their effects on the business. The Contract Analyst must be able to evaluate and respond to contractual terms and conditions and must be able to come up with alternative language or solutions to close the deal. Given the unique nature of the business, the Contract Analyst must have the ability to think strategically, to recognize and evaluate commercial and legal risks. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must as is the ability to work within a team and establishing relationships with external and internal customers. The Contract Analyst will report to the Director of Contracts. A degree is required; an MBA, JD, or Masters Degree is preferred. 3-5 years of relevant contract negotiation/drafting experience is required.
