Senior Technical Business Analyst
Working on a high profile project the main purpose of this role is to provide high quality business analysis to and documentation for assessing compliance to the bigger program specifications.
You will provide these based on understanding the program architecture, high level and detailed designs and an analysis of the clinical various risks posed by modifications of software that will access the larger national system.
The role:
- Perform requirements gathering, business process improvements and gap analysis
- Performing risk and impact assessments
- Working with project teams, to understand the nature of the business projects and products
- Working with the Test Team to successfully implement test specifications
- Preparing training material and providing assistance to external organisations performing compliance assessments.
- These may include product vendors, health providers and other external stakeholders.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- At least 5-7 years of experience in commercial IT coupled with tertiary level qualifications in information technology;
- Demonstrated experience as a consultant to a diverse set of stakeholders in government, assisting with benefits analysis, introduction of new technology and an understanding of the impact of new programs on service delivery and the workforce;
- Strong ability to converse with both end-users and IT employees at all levels of the organisation;
- Strong technical background;
- Understanding of all aspects of the systems/software development life cycle;
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Outstanding ability to analyse, isolate and interpret business needs and develop appropriate technical solutions;
- Outstanding technical specification writing/documentation skills.
- Experience in Health and technical requirements, datasets and information models
