Outsource UK are actively seeking to recruit a highly skilled Senior Mortgage Compliance Consultant for a 3 month initial contract based in Swindon. Applicants must have a sound background in mortgage compliance. Outsource are confirmed 1st tier suppliers to our highly respected financial services Client.

The Project:
- Mortgage originations programme of work.
Responsibilities:
- Provide compliance advice, expertise and support in relation to a mortgage and banking activities
- Provide expert technical advice to all group wide business areas to help ensure that all processes, policies and products meet regulatory requirements.
- Assist business areas in applying compliant and commercial solutions to business requirements
- Liaising with stakeholders
- Provision of expert, accurate and timely advice and support to allocated projects.
- Combine specialist knowledge with commercial acumen to successfully translate business requirements into workable compliant policies and processes.
Key Skills:
- Able to demonstrate influencing and negotiation skills enabling contribution at a tactical level.
- Candidates must understand the application of Principle Based Regulation and ensure that Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) is built into all aspects of policy, responsible lending and arrears handling.
- A solid and diverse experience in the compliance and associated regulatory environment is essential.
- CeMAP/CeFA qualifications and BCOBS/MCOB knowledge is also required.
