ROLE: Finance Data Analyst
SKILLS: Finance Data Analyst - SAP - Qualified Account
Project Context:
To transform the Finance and MI capability through re-engineering the systems and processes of the organisation.
Role Purpose:
To prepare for the historic data conversion of data required to support reporting from the GDRS system and to draft definitions related to the new reference data structure being developed for the new finance systems. As part of a small team, the role holder will:
Draft technical accounting definitions for the new data structures including, but limited to, the new chart of account. To support the testing of data conversion routines for loading historic comparative data to new Group Reporting systems.Undertake reconciliation of converted historic data loaded to the new systems as part of implementation of the new Group reporting systems.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of accounting and reporting in a financial services organisation
- Qualified accountant with strong understanding of IFRS and/or Basel II reporting
- Strong stakeholder relationship management and negotiating skills
Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge of SAP BFCKnowledge of SAP general ledgers
- Knowledge of SAP BW/BIExperience of preparing statutory, regulatory or management reports for a bank
- Ideally suited to an accountant with a background of both financial reporting and change in a UK bank
